DIRECTIONS OF USING ZIPPER PRODUCTIONS

1/ Closing/Opening movement direction :
 

1.1 Open-end zipper :

a/ When closing:
    - Pull down the. slider so that it makes close contact with the
     retaining box.
   - Firmly insert the pin into the box so that 2 bottom edges of the
     zipper tape completely equal.
   - Holding the pin in one hand & the other pulling up the slider.
b/When opening:
   - Pull down the slider so that it makes close contact with the
     retaining box.
   - Remove the pin out of the box gently
 

1.2 Two-way zipper:

a/ When closing:
   - Pull down the lower slider to the lowest position.
   - Pull down the upper slider so that it makes close contact with
     the lower slider.
   - Firmly insert the pin into the box sole so that 2 bottom edges
     of the zipper tape completely equal.
   - Pull up the slider.
b/ When opening:
   - Pull down the upper slider to the lower slider.
   - Remove the pin gently
2/ How to use zipper to raise its life-span :
 

2.1 Unsmooth opening & closing of a slider :
   - The teeth of zipper can be damaged by forcing a slider that
     does not open & close smoothly.
   - .Apply Paraffin to the front side & back side of the zipper &
      move the slider up & down several times to make the slider
      work smoothly.
  2.2 Loss of zipper teeth - Elements :
    - Trying to' forcibly close the zipper of an overfilled bag & will
      cause damage the zipper. This action may cause the teeth
      slip out from the tape.
    - The problem occurs most commonly with zipper, so the
      zipper should be closed only after putting 2 sides of zipper
      close together so that the slider can move more easily.
  2.3 Slider caught in cloth :
    - The slider may catch on thread or cloth when opening or
      closing.
    - Gently moving the slider back, removing the trapped thread
      or cloth.
    - When sewing zippers on garments, take care to avoid the
      possibility of the zipper getting caught.
  2.4 When putting on or removing clothing :
    - Clothing should be put on or taken off only after completely
       opening a zipper.
    - When closing the zipper, the slider will move smoothly if the
      trouser hook or top button is fastened ready.
    - If the slider is opened midway, 2 sides of the zipper will be
      extensive forced at the slider position, and may cause
      damage the zipper.
    - Pay the same attention to boots, leather gloves & accessories
       which have used zippers.
  2.5 Proper ironing with appropriate heat :
    - Zippers can be kept durable & beautiful by considering the
      material of which they are made and ironed with the proper
      heat.
    - A zipper should be always closed, before ironing, the slider
      fixed in the proper position & the slider will be covered by a
      piece of cloth regardless of what material it is.
    - Do not iron when the puller is erect or on the reverse side.
  2.6 Suitable method of washing :
    - A zipper should be closed and the slider must be fixed in the
      proper position before washing.
    - Strong alkaline detergents or chlorine bleaching agents used
      to remove oil or bad stains or oil film must be used with care.
    - If a zipper does not work smoothly after cleaning, apply
      paraffin to the front side & back side of the zipper & move the
      slider up & down several times to make the slider work
      smoothly.
